I've been off my mission for nearly 8 months. How have I spent my time? Following the music scene, reading too many Pitchfork reviews- I'm back to normal. The year is coming to a close & I don't really give a crap about any upcoming music this month. I made a list of my 10 favorite albums of the year, assuming I don't get into any new bands this December... Here are some excellent albums that barely missed the cut & I didn't want to rank:

And here's the top 10 list, which I've thought about for the last couple of months. Some artists are out there succeeding at scaring the crap out of me (Swans, Godspeed You! Black Emperor), some are actually getting me into the genre of dream pop (Chromatics, Beach House), and some are Frank Ocean (Frank Ocean). #10- #4 have changed a lot, I honestly haven't heard all these albums all the way through, but I really like what I've heard. #1- #3 will probably never change for me, some of my personal favorite music ever.
